How Crawl Space Sump Pump Systems Work
A sump basin—typically 18 inches in diameter—is installed at the lowest point of the crawl space and surrounded by drainage aggregate. Water from the crawl space or drainage system flows into the basin where a pump activates automatically and discharges water through a 1.5-inch PVC line to a lower elevation away from the foundation. Check valves are installed to prevent backflow, and in many cases, battery backup systems are included to ensure operation during power outages.
We install sump pump systems that collect and discharge water away from your home.
